Maxine has touched so many people, in so many ways, that it was felt that her memory should continue by way of the launch of MWAH.

 

The name is appropriate as those who loved Max know that this is how she always signed off her texts to us.

 

The Appeal has been launched with the aim of raising £250,000 for Cancer Related Organisations, especially Research into malignant Melanoma & Grants to The Christie Hospital in Manchester. Monies will be used to make Grants for equipment for the Critical Care Ward but also to raise awareness & research through Dr Lorigan at Christies of Melanoma / Skin Cancer.

A number of fund raising events are listed on the “Forthcoming Events” page, & more will be planned in due course.
